Only getting fuel to half the motor cmfi 4.3 vortec

I put a 94 4.3 cmfi vortec in a 91 blazer swapped out wiring harness fuel tank and computer. Couldnt get fuel to motor untill we bled fuel off the line at motor several times when the motor fired up all the cylinders on the passanger side get fuel but the drivers side is not getting fuel when we spray fuel into the intake the engine smoothes out anyone got any ideas on what is causing this?

TBI injection?
Is both injectors spraying fuel even?
How is the fuel pressure?

Did you check/clean/put dielectric grease in the wiring connector for the spider?

Re: Only getting fuel to half the motor

What engine came out of the 91?
If you are using a 91 pcm/vcm and wiring on a 94 engine you may have a problem.

The fuel pressure regulator is in the intake.

Is all injectors getting a injector pulse.

How are you checking for no injector spray?

Re: Only getting fuel to half the motor

If it's a 94, you have a spider. The injector feeds the poppet valves. And the electrical connector to it is known to be picky/work loose/need to be replaced.

Re: Only getting fuel to half the motor

OK here's some more info i took the engine out of a 1994 s15 jimmy took the wiring harness, engine control module and fuel tank an pump pulled the engine in late July of this year now we originally thought the reason the engine wouldn't start was a wiring issue until last Sunday when we were checking to see if fuel was coming out in a high volume off the feed to the engine the gas that came off it was bad so im wondering if there is a split off that feeds each side that could have been clogged by the bad gas now if that is the case im going to try running some sea foam through it to see if that takes care of it.
also on this coming sunday i will be testing fuel preassure but just wondering if my clog theory was possible

Re: Only getting fuel to half the motor

I would verify good fuel pressure first.
For the year engine you put in.

On the engine you put in is it a 12 wire plugin on top of intake to injectors or just a two wire feed to injectors?

Do you have any codes or check engine light on?

They will not clog up unless you have let dirt or rust get in the injector.

On that on with the single injector all clinders are plused at on time from one injector.

If one side is getting fuel the other side should get fuel.

Also verfiy good injector pulse.
Good liuck.
