Cobb Facility Grand Opening in Plano

Cobb just opened up a new facility here in Plano, not exactly by my house but in the backyard, as it were. Went out for the grand opening on Saturday with the a few other Speed3 guys, and my buddy with the damned best sounding STI on the face of the planet. If you disagree with me, you are worse than Hitler. We are working on getting videos of his STI here, and should have some for you soon.

Tons of pics, so make sure you let them all load. I have more coming shortly, but Photobucket has turned geh, and wont let me upload more than 50 pics at a time (and had become stupid fucking complicated).

Yup, it would be even better if I wasn't trying to get rid of the Speed3, then I could take it there and get a custom AP tune. But its a new place to chill and go to meets beyond the Sonic parking lot that doesn't restrict the amount of stupid that tends to show up. That, and a good friend of mine is applying to be their marketing director their, and he said if he gets it he'll definately get me a job if I want it, lol.

Seems like the only people who can afford GTR's are companies that can use a $106,000 tax right off.

I've only seen one GTR on the road drivin by 'somebody'.

At one point they had three there, not including Cobb built one. The BIG local Nissan place has one sitting on the lot with only ten thousand mark up, and its not moving right now...

Re: Cobb Facility Grand Opening in Plano

guess i've been lucky with the gtr. got to watch one pace a 911 turbo at VIR, seen 5 on the open road, and driven 1 that my friends uncle bought. honostly an awsome car, but with the markups now hitting near 100k, i'd rather get the 911 turbo, only a 26g difference.

Local Nissan dealer here had one for $106,000. They had two... in white and silver. Loved it in white. GTR's have always been sexy in white for some reason.

And as GTR's get over priced, and with GM failing... Corvette prices are coming down. lol... yayyy!
