Your non-"box-stock" projects

I've been here a while and haven't seen this thread, so even if it existed, it's not a bad idea for a current one. Give as much detail as you care to. If you want some stuff to say secret, don't share!

I've got 2 non-"box-stock" kits on the go.

1) AMT '49 Mercury. Shaved and slammed thus far. Rims from a Dodge Viper. Tubbed so they fit in the back. Engine bay mods so they fit in the front. Corvette IRS. Corvette exhaust. Engine is a 350 Chev NASCAR spec out of the Superflo Camaro (early '90s). A bit of tinting will be required as the windshield and rear window are cracked. May try to make a front windshield... Custom front grill. Smoothed rear roll pan. Paint colour is undecided.

2) Revell 360 Spider. Minor performance mods. Brake upgrade. Unsure about rims. May use set from a 512TR... haven't mocked them up yet, as they are 300 km from my current location... several appearance mods that I currently will not disclose.... I haven't seen any like it, and I want it to be a surprise!

Abandoned - 1 kit I can think of.

'57 Chevy Belair. Convertible conversion, dropped, shaved. Botched the front grill and broke the A-pillar. May dig it up later, but not right now....

Future - Have a Chevy 1500 454SS that may just find itself on the chopping block.

91 Mitsubishi Galant VR-4: Scratchbuild intercooler (stock one looks more like an oil cooler), Gonna get some rims soon... and an ITR mid-wing which seems to be perfect for it.

All of the ideas I had for my ITR project are biend transferred to the revell civic, the itr is old news, the civic is the new, fresh, honda tuner car for everyone to build ... Wait 'till you you guys see what I have planned nothing like it has apeared before, it'll be completed by the end of the year.

Im getting ready to start a 98' EK-9 Civic Type R.. Modifications will include: Silver V-spec II "Nur" wheels(the 5 spokes), an extended body kit, silver or white paint, Tuner Decals, Full ITR engine detail with custom intercooler, Slammed extremely low, and an opening hatch to show the full System with 2 or 4 subs that are going to be painted to match the interior with other speakers placed around the inside which will be White and blue or Black and silver(Depending on body color). And also silver mesh grilles and a custom made exhaust.

The project Im in the middle of right now is an ITR with a PIAA accord front, widebody, Targa roof, 3 piece wing, Custom exhaust, new wheels, and nothing yet on the interior. I hope I canget it done in time for the ITR contest. Here's a sneak peak of it

95 Dodge Ram 2500. origonally an ordinary pickup. swaped the boxfor some cardboard from a soda box, painted it black, hot glued it on, added new suspension in the rear from ordinary part holder thingy, custom bumper, wing, exaust, and hood scoop. plus lots of decals. very unprofesional looking but it worked for me.

Almost finished an Evo VI (been waiting for paint to gas out so I can clearcoat). Slammed with new exhaust and new rims, and an SAS Wing.

In the works: Supra. Colour undecided. Two big arse scratchbuilt turbos, scratchbuilt intercooler, slammed, 18 or 19" rims, possible bigger brakes, new exhaust, SAS Wing, detailed engine bay, new gauges, probably an SAS bodykit when that arrives (currently the only thing holding off further progress - the wait is long, but I know it's going to be worth it.).
