97 monte carlo po141 o2 sensor help!!

I recently purchased a 97 monte carlo with a 3.1L engine for a winter car. when i first got it it had a code that was egr. i fixed the egr, that car sat for a couple of weeks, and now i keep getting a po141 o2 sensor heater circuit malfunction bank1 sensor 2. what does this mean? could the two codes be related? where is bank 1 sensor 2? HELP!!!!

Bank one refers to the exhaust system on the number one cyclinder side of the engine. Sensor two is the one located after the catalytic converter, rear of the vehicle end. Sensor heater circuit codes normally, but not always, mean the sensor is bad. In order to make sure it is the sensor you will have to do voltage and resistance tests in that sensors circuit.
