'94 Bonneville rear Brakes
I am trying to remove the rear drums on my '94 Bonneville and can't because the brakes are to tight. The e-brake cable is disconnected to relieve tension yet I can not find an access hole anywhere on the rear splash plate to save my life. I've looked for hours knowing it has to be there but it's not. So how can I loosen the brakes in order to remove the drums?

Re: '94 Bonneville rear Brakes
If your rear drums turn the shoes are not holding the drums on. Many times the drums rust on the hub. Lubricate with penetrating oil and use a hammer to strike the drum between the lugs. If the drum is loose on the hub and the shoes are holding it, there is a punched outline of an axcess hole on the fase of the drum. This plug can be removed with a hammer and a chisel.
