'95 cutlass supreme

My coolant issue still isnt solved. I got the bleeder valves open and did purge some air out but I still dont have any heat. The thermostat was replaced on this car. I was told that it could be possible that the thermostat is in upside down or backwards or something. Is this possible and why the thermo wont open? I still dont have any fans turning on even when I turn on the ac. Any suggestions?

if its blowing air and its not hot, it could be a heater core issue. if its not blowing air period or only on certain settings, it could be the blow motor resistor.

Re: '95 cutlass supreme

awd, mpumas, maxwedge and scrapper- I think I have progress. Ok, I did snap off the bleed valve on the pickup housing tube but went to the junkyard and got one free. Replaced an old school hose clamp which was the smoking gun. It was right above the bleeder valve and leaked just enough to keep the system from pressurizing. Got the temp up and got the fan running. Took it out on a short drive and some fluctuation on the gauge but it settled down by the time we got back home. Still can hear some coolant running through the heater core occasionally. I guess it will take some time to get all the air out. Will check level this morning while cold. So it turns out that this shop charged this girl over $1200 by saying they replaced the intake manifold gasket, changed THREE spark plugs and put on new wires. All it really needed was a new cap and a hose clamp. I proclaim my name renchhednot and I fixed this better than a $75/hour mechanic! Now I will probably replace all six plugs because, who knows, maybe the mechanic put in the wrong ones.
