basics tutorial

So

There's a lot of ways to do this stuff. This is just one of the ways I do it.

It looks like this will be in 3 or 4 parts

What I'm gonna do is take a pencil sketch through Illustrator and into Phtoshop and render it in Photoshop channels.

here we go:

Re: basics tutorial

lemorris--thanks for taking the time to make and share. I pick up some new nugget of technique each time I watch one of your tutorials.

And agree that this site is collecting a lot of "dust."
Don't know what has happened, but it's not like it was even a year ago.

Re: basics tutorial

Here's the next part

this just gets us to Photoshop and touches on a little rendering, but not much...not much that makes sense anyway.

Re: basics tutorial

Thanks, Lemorris. I learn so much watching your tuts.... it'll take a while, but I want to get this technique down. Thanks for sharing your talent and experience. Robo
