PCM question

Would a bad Powertrain Control Module (PCM) cause the alternator not to charge a full charge. My alternator started to charge, after I cleaned the grounds but the charge is not enough to even turn the lights on.Thank you for the wiring harness, this is still the same car. 96 Grand am 2.4L

Re: PCM question

Actualy your GA has a ECM/ECU which is not always reffered to as a PCM.

Yes a bad ECM can under or over charge your battery, though it could be something else.

I would double check your connection, make sure they are all tight.
