Question No Ext Temp reading??

The outside temp reading on my 2000 Lesabre is not reading at all. It used to have a "Ext" temp displayed on the heater readout. No at is only an inside reading. How can I get the ext reading back. If the sensor was bad wouldn't it still be reading something, even if it was a flaky reading??

Unplug the temp sensor and see if it will show anything.

Unplugged the sensor and it still doesn't have a reading at all.
