Just some Questions about my SVO

I've got a 1984 SVO with lots of problems, the power steering pump is broke (the return line for the reservoir keeps blowin out) and I want to put a manual steering rack in... so what kind should I use and where can I get one. also keeping the same turning radius.
And for problem number two, when I give the car gas it stalls and wants to die for a second then revs normally and shoots white smoke and smells like gasoline.

Re: Just some Questions about my SVO

As for the steering flaming river has a nice manual rack but it don't have the same turning ratio the svo had its on radius. As for running bad do a good tune up. Check the timming 12 degrees is a good place to start. If you need more info try looking on svoca.com. great place for info.
