1992 Lumina Euro NO Spark #6
I am trying to track down the extreme lack of power I am suffering from. Car will start up and idle, though it doesn't sound perfect. Any touch of the gas initially bogs the motor down and then gradually gains RPMs.
So far I have replaced the fuel filter, cleaned the IAC, made sure the air filter/box is clear. Today while it was idling I pulled plug wire #2 and the motor ran noticably worse, and I could see sparking from the end of the wire to nearby metal. Plugged that one back in and unplugged #6, and low and behold, no change in the motor. So I had a spare wire laying around, put that on and no difference when removing that wire at idle. So, I went ahead and purchased a new coil for #6/#3. That is all installed, but there is still no spark at #6 (I haven't checked #3 because it is buried) but this is clearly my problem. What do I do next, now that the new coil for #6/#3 doesn't appear to be giving out spark? |

Re: 1992 Lumina Euro NO Spark #6
Usually the ign module would cause this.

Have you tried swapping plugs?
