sub and amp question

I got a Mtx thunder502 amp and 2 infinity kappa 10" dvc subs. How should i hook them up? The subs can be either wired for 2 or 8 ohms and the amp i got puts out 250rms X2 at 2 ohms. CAn i just wire the subs to 2 ohms and hook them up or should i do it a different way?

is the amp stable at 2 ohms stereo or 2 ohms mono ?

remember, 2 ohms mono is (roughly) the same as 1 ohm stereo
