Does anyone know the origin of the Revell 250 GTO. Is ita Revell tooling or is it the gunze sangyo tool re-released!?

Thanks

Emil

Re: Ferrari 250 GTO

I believe it is the Protar version re-released in the Revell Packaging.

Re: Ferrari 250 GTO

Depends. There are several versions of 250 GTO kits issued by Revell.

Re: Ferrari 250 GTO

The Revell Germany kit issued in the last year or two is the Protar tooling. Revell/Monogram issued a 250GTO in the late 70's and again in the early 90's which was based on the Aurora kit. The Protar based kit isn't bad but has a few shape errors while the Aurora barely resembles a 250GTO.
