2003 Venture- Low Brake Fluid Light
New problem. The brake light comes on and the message center displays "low brake fluid" in red. I opened the resivor to see if i needed to add more and it was half full. How do i know this isnt about brake fluid!?!?!
anyone else seen this?

look behind master cyl and see if it's wet behind cyl. if not you may want to loosen the two bolts that holds it on to power booster see if it's wet. if not like he said wheel cyl or hole in line.

if it has been a while since the pads were changed the as the pads wear down the brake fluid goes down in the mastercylinder . there is a sensor in the mastercylinder and if the brake fluid is not covering it- the low brake fluid light comes on.check the rear hubs for leaking wheel cylinders [brake fluid will be on the backside of the hub.]
