Flexible air ducting (ie/ for brake cooling)?

I've seen a tutorial about making this using teflon tape and wire--but it's hard as anything to paint. Is there another way of doing it, or is there a company that makes it? I've looked around, but couldn't find any.

Thanks!

Daniel

Try this:

and paint it with acrylic paint

Otherwise you can try to do it with the sticky paper you use to keep food fresh

Wire spring + shrink tube of appropriate color. Problem solved.

Once Ive seen is similar to the link above, as far as wrapping wire around a rod really tight. Once its done, dip the completed piece into a bottle of paint several times so that you build paint up on it.

I've seen it done with the usual wire bent around a pen (or something similar), and then it's bent to shape and covered with BMF.
