I really like mafia stuff, my favorite show is The Sopranos... I like the Godfather series, Scarface, goodfellas, thos are some of my favorite movies........ is anybody into La Cosa Nostra? who else likes that stuff?

Anyway, I haven't heard much from the Italian mafia in recent years, what happened? I hear that the chinese and russian mafia are big now, but are they bigger than cosa nostra (italian mafia)???
I know that the last big boss was John Gotti in New York, what's goin down now?!?!?

4. own something they want to be partners in ie. a business of some sort
5. it is all about trust, you have to make them trust you some how

i know it's all about trust, there is a sacred code that no mobster is supposed to break called the omerta... it means you can never reveal any information about your organization, can't kill somebody in front of their family, etc. That's another reason the mob isn't doing as well as it used to i think, cause people talk too much now, like that Sammy Gravano guy that told the police everything he knew just so he could save his ass, and he's the reason all of the gambino family was arrested.
I know they're still around, i was just wondering if they're still as big, cause you don't hear anything about them on the news anymore. Cause in the early 90s when John Gotti was arrested, the top people from the main gambino family were arrested to, and the whole organization fell apart.... I think they've re-built it now, they're probably tryin to keep low, and not to get too much attention.
I think your father needs to be italian to be in the mafia (good thing i'm half italian, now i got more possibilties )

bella, i know there's like a section of the italian mafia in Hamilton... 2 guys were killed and it was connected to some italian mob. I don't know too much about it though. You aren't related to any mobsters are you? heh

Naw, the Russian mafia is the coolest, hands down. Dealing in AK's and a cooler language. its a really MAFIA language. Italian is something you use when you bang a girl. Russian is what you use when you talk aobut killing someone.

no way!! The Italian mafia has controlled all of the U.S. for like 70 years
The russian boys are just getting here, they don't know anything.... the italians started mafia, russians are just tryin to pick up from them.

where was the russian mafia when Al Capone was takin over? Have you heard of Murder Inc.?? They were the most vicious mob, they were italian, they killed over 500 people

I've read tons of things on how they killed informants, this one guy was talkin with the FBI and some mob guys took him to a meat house, hung him by his anus on a hook, then beat him with a bat for 2 days before he died... that's nasty and that's just one of many killings that bad
