I know your car's color (EBP), and year (2001), but what is it?

engine just intake and exhaust, other then that just some serious weight reduction- gutted from the front seats back, carbon fiber hood, removed vibration dampener's, lighter wheels etc.... im guessing it runs mid to very high 14.s since i have no problem hanging with or taking care of a couple bpu 1st gen gsx's that i hang out with.

personally im more concerned with handling, and driving for personal fullfillment. thats why ive spent 2k+ on my suspension shit and not really touched the motor too much.

with them having an auto you really need to get a good launch if your racing from a stop, even though they are heavy pigs (more then ludes) the auto really helps with consistency. if you race him from a roll you should have no problems. i dont know what kind of driver you are but ive only been beaten by one and he had a pulley upgrade so it was to be expected.

*** the key is to not shift untill 8000rpm (stock tach indicated) from first to second so you can stay in vtec. the stock tach is dreadfully inaccurate so dont worry about it. i shift at 8k all the time when i race and i have yet to float a valve.

Oh, one more thing...do you or anyone else for that matter know what the stock 60 and 1/4 mile times are on a 98 base lude(5-spd) and while im askin , the same for a 98 gtp...I've looked everywhere but I always come up short...

To bad about the loss. I think you would have been better off throwing one against the Caddy instead
