2005 mustang EVAP problem

Hi all,

The check engine light came on, and i used my code reader and pulled code P0456.

EVAP small leak detected. I looked in the haynes manual and it suggests about 6 components of the EVAP system.

Lately i've noticed that when i pump gas, the gas pump clicks as if the tank is full, but the tank is actually only about half full.

Any ideas about where to begin?

No, there are no dents in the gas tank.

When i'm pumping gas, and the pumping kicks off, i can put more gas in it, but it keeps clicking off. I just do it 10 times until the tank is more towards full.

are these vacuum lines going to the canister accessible?

I am also wondering if it is common for this code to replace the canister purge valve
