04 Silverado Help.

I have an 04 Silverado 1500, I am a newb so you will have to bear.
I been hearing alot of extra noise I never used to hear in my trucK while I drive it now. It's liKe an extra little rattle after I hit bumps going maybe 30'sh 40'sh and I wanted to get it fixed but don't Know what could be the problem.
I tooK it to the dealer and they gave it bac and a few days later it's happening all over again I would liKe to Know if anyone would liKe to taKe a shot at this.... what could this be? Could it just be my front suspension? If I replace my suspension what would be cheaper?

This is all I Know it's been eating up my 2 front tires alot more than my bacK ones... It rattles/shaKes alittle too much after bumps sorta liKe I have no shocKs... and I thinK it might be a problem where my tires lug on too... (sorry 1 more time HA!)

could be the shocks worn out. have you jacked up each side of the front end and tried to shake the tires side to side then from top and bottom to see if any slack in the steering or balljoints. as worn steering parts will wear the front tires out quickly

how are the tires wearing? how many miles on vehicle? 4X4?

do you grease the front end? do you rotate tires? brake work done?

Chevy trucks have something worng with the steering colum. It gets a clunk and is harmless but annoying. although this is only going slow over bumps. And would not wear out the tires

droop, do yourself a favor and try to come up with better description of the problem. is it front or rear? does it feel in the steering wheel? speeding, crusing, braking?
those trucks are called "clunckerdoes" for a reason. they do make plenty noises, some harmless, some not so. mine is completely quiet only under cubic yard of topsoil load. i just know my noises and live with some.
so, figure out what, when, how - and post here. keep in mind, it's metal box and it is VERY hard to pinpoint source. if it's low speed clunck, get a helper, go into large parking lot, and have someone drive, while you walk next to it. it's much easier to pinpoint that way.
