Big reduction in spam recently.
I read today (in The Globe and Mail) that back on Nov. 11, a San Jose CA web-hosting company (McColo Corp) was shut down, which corresponds to an almost 2/3 reduction in worldwide spam. It seems this outfit was crucial for about 90 billion spam messages being sent daily worldwide recently.
So, have you noticed a reduction? I have. And what particular kind of hell awaits these guys when they die?

I noticed a huge decrease, but then we saw that about 4 years ago when AOL took out "a" spammer through the courts and raffeled of his Porsche but it just keeps coming back. http://www.theregister.co.uk/2004/03...eized_porsche/

Actually, I've noticed a slight increase in both of my email accounts that I use regularly
 . But , like when the police take out a major drug dealer or supplier, it's only a matter of time before things "return to normal" as others move in to take the place of the one that was removed. And then it's business as usual.
