This is a COOL project!!!!

Mmmm...I like the SPOON SPORTS scheme, but I think you would have to strip the paint. The yellow should have been applied before the blue.

Or you can rough the blue up slightly with some 1000 grit (where you want it yellow) prime it with light grey primer, then hit it with yellow paint. The primer is less opaque than yellow paint so it will cover the shadowing effect the blue would normally have under the yellow. Once it's dried and cured polish it so it's uniform. I like the Spoon idea a lot! I think you should go for it

FYI. Next time you want to get rid of a paint job, don't sand it off. Use automotive brake fluid. Take a tub or a zip-lock bag, fill it with the brake fluid and let the body sit in it for a few days. The paint should pretty much wash right off. It will help preserve the contours and details of the model and save you some work. Don't worry the brake fluid wont ruin the plastic.

Or you can use Mr.Muscle oven cleaner to strip the paint, does the same as brakefluid with no loss of detail and i think you don't have to leave ir in the bag as long, only for a few hours.
I restore alot of my old kits normally my big rigs.Looks good though i'd go with the Spoons colours.

sam01contact: thank for comment, but still wonder where can get the spoon decal set...hmm...

Mojo_stevo:thank to solve my problem...i'll try that
compare with brake fluid, using sand paper is cheaper for me

Re: WIP: JTCC accord(restore project)

Great model! I did one i Castrol painting scheme. Be carefull with roll cage as it is a bit to high so troublesome when mounting body.

As for removing paint you may try isopropyl alcohol for pains like TS or Gunze C
