Vehicle is not responding 2005 LTC

Hy guys,

want check my codes on my 2005 LTC and my Autoxray scanner always
say " vehicle is not responding " .

Updated my scanner with the 3.03 Software.

Someone has an idea

Is that what the scanner says when you hook it up to try to scan the OBD2?

At the moment, I cant think of any reason it would say that. Do you know anyone who has a different scanner you can try? Or is there a auto part store around you where you could try theirs to see if you get a different response.

Any other symptoms?..
Obviously the CEL is lit.. is the car running or not running?
How's the battery charge? Should be 12V minimum.

HY Guys,

First of all, the car is runnung perfect, i think only one ingnition coil is
dead.

Can not use a nother scanner, live here in southern germany( europe) and there are not so a lot of guys with lincoln.

Maybe the cable? the scanner is 6 years old ?

Try wiggling the connect at both ends to the car and scanner, while observing the display. See if you can make the connector work, if not you may be SOL with the scanner. It might also be the OBII connector on the car...

I wiggling the connectors and nothing happens,

think i try the scanner at the mustang 2005 of my friend tomorrow,

we will see if the scanner works

HY Guys,

I think i know the reason wy the scanner not work.

The Town car needs a scanner with CAN Bus funktion, i order a new scanner and we will see
