airbag light short

i have an airbag lighton, had scanned was told a short somewere . my inspection sticker failed for frontend and airbag light.i did frontend see post afew days back. i live in mass. does anyone have any areas that i can look at and would a bag deploy while trying to find it 95 jimmy 4.3 4x4 214548mi

What was the code no.
Yes they can go off working on them.
The repair is best left to a pro that is trained in SIR repair.
Just like a loaded shotgun.
Thery can save your life or take it in a split second.

mechanic didnt say code number it said a short on his scanner, also codes will not clear thats probability why he said a short...money not there for the pros so ill just take it off the road till money come my way, thank you for your info K

It also gave him a code no for where the short is.
Go ask him for the code no.
You are going to need code no for repair.
