Am I heading in the right direction?

I have a 1999 Pontiac Grand am and the power locks will not stop unlocking the doors. It only does this while the car is running and it does this in a very consistent six second intervals. This sounds similar to a problem alot of GA owners are having but it affecting there lights, dash, turn signals, and wipers. I believe my problem is connected with these but I am not able to find anything to prove this. I think that it is one of these three things; a switch is going out, a bad relay or a bad wire harness that is located behind the dash that costs appoximately $400 to replace. So if you agree or disagree please let me know because the longer I put this off the colder it gets and I will be doing this in my driveway! Any suggestions would be awesome.

Welcome to AF.
I noticed you also posted the same question on the Grand Am subforum.

That subforum should generate a good response for you. Usually we discourage members starting multiple threads on the same subject.

Another suggestion would be to follow the other forum guideline which talks to using a meaningful subject line. There are some very knowledgeable folks on these forums that will ignore threads that don't have a summary subject.
