Angry 1997 Chevrolet Silverado Problems!!!

I have a 1997 chevrolet silverado, 5.7 v8 engine. I put in a new gas pump but it wont start. It says the gas pressure is low. The cables also have very low spark. Any advice on how to fix these problems? Thanks

What is the fuel pressure with the key on engine off & when you are cranking it ? How did you determine it has low spark ? I know some Chevy fuel modules are crapola. Had to replace two before I found a good one on a 99.

Go delphi with lifetime warranty, plus check your power and grounds.

When you/before you , replace the fuel pump always check pressures and VOLTAGE/GROUNDS TO PUMP CONNECTOR...

this is required as you,,,possibly, and others have found may have been the problem of low fuel pressures...

use of a meter to measure the voltage and ground security is required...many fail to clean and fasten the ground point located on the frame...
