Custom '67 Vette

This is the Revelle kit, done with '97 Vette seats, 5 spoke rims, parts box brakes, and a pile of other Vette parts I've collected over the years. The paint is HoK aquarious shift. I had the headers forever, and finally was able to use them on this model. the exhaust vents, trim and tail light trim are all aluminum tubing, and I made custom tail lights to fit them.
I also opened up the grill and put some screen in there as well as the side vents.

Small block power works, as I've done a few big block monsters, I wanted this to be more of a drivable street machine.

Re: Custom '67 Vette

scrapper,

I live in Austin, TX. Haven't painted a real, i.e. 1/1 scale car, but I do hope to do that someday. We shall see.

Any job change I'd make would have to be for quite a bit of money. Austin is a beautiful city, I've got a great job, so does my wife, so it would have to be something stupendous to get me to change any of that.

Carl

Re: Custom '67 Vette

"hey you want a job?" LMAO

The shine is perfect, I love the wheels and the whole concept just works; Kind of a pro touring feel to it. That paint is nice, looks green in one shot, navy blue in the next and from the top all you see is metal flake. This thing would look great on a car trailer behind a RV. Wink

Re: Custom '67 Vette

OMG, I do have a trailer in the junk box at my desk...

That flip flop paint is HARD to photograph. I was semi-successful here, less so on other projects. It's something that you have to see in person to appreciate!.

But then again, I probably need a few more weeks to finish my HoK Passionate Purple Porsche 911 GT3, and we shall see how that looks.
