I have a 98 s10 with over 100,000 miles on it that will not turn over at all. At first I could pump the clutch several times and hold it down and it would turn over and crank. So I thought the clutch sensor was bad, so I replaced it. But it still did the same thing. The clutch works fine when the truck is running, stiff as it should be and it doesnt slip at all. But Im pretty sure the reason it wont turn over has something to do with a clutch problem. What else could be wrong with it. I only have this problem when the truck is completely cold.

Re: 98 S-10 Clutch problem
either clutch switch u replaced is not on correctly, or possible ignition switch, provided all lights have power and such. could also be starter relay, must go down the list. does fuel pump prime when u turn key on? does it click, or make any sort fo "clunk" noise when turning key and then no start/crank? when u pumped the clutch, was it firm like normal, or was it pumping up?
