Question Best adhesive for use with KA Models' seat belt material?

Has anybody found a particularly good adhesive for use with the seat belt material provided by KA Models? It is great looking stuff but I can't seem to find any reliable method of gluing to itself. I've tried white glue, Microscale foil glue, and a couple of others.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Re: Best adhesive for use with KA Models' seat belt material?

KA model seatbelt is really hard to glue onto something. I tried white glue but it has no use at all, then i think of trying double sided tape. It was good initially, but after sometime it also seems to keep falling off from the adhensive. But anyway i turned back to my reliable but sometimes (disastrous) super glue, which works well for me

I've had good luck using a quick setting gel type CA ('super glue').
Test it with some scrap to make sure you don't get a white residue on the pieces near the joint, otherwise you'll need to try a different glue.

Same for me, I simply use super glue that makes it stick within seconds, and the result is very good. Note that the KA seatbelt material has different sides, I always glue the side that has no pattern on it. Good luck!

Have you tried that craft store glue called Aleens or something like that? Pretty thick stuff and holds well, messy to work with, like a thick Elmer's glue. Another suggestion would be 5-minute epoxy.

Superglue worked for me.

MicroScale Foil Adhesive was just the ticket for attaching the belts to the seats. It's a non-stringy contact cement, so you can just coat the belt, let the glue dry, and press it to the seat. You don't need to risk a mess by coating the seat, too. Just one surface will do.
