Whats the max tire size on fact rim-99 silv

Whats the maximum tire size I can put on a factory rim for a 99 silverado?.....The tires on them right now is 245/75R 16 and I want to know if 265/75R 16 will fit.

You can fit easily a 285/75r16. You could squeeze as much as a 305, but it would be pushing it. A 265 will fit easily. Factory Z71's run 265/70's

One quick add. You can fit them if your 4WD, 2WD might be a tough squeeze. With 4WD you can fit damn near a 33" tire on a factory wheel with just a touch of a crank
