can you vtec a non vtec engine?
I got a d15b2 sohc can i throw a dohc vtec head on it what kinda of mods would i have to do? if its possile.

Hmm...you can make the motor VTEC but you have to get a SOHC VTEC head (mini-me). You CAN'T put a DOHC head on a SOHC block.

So i can put a sohc vtec head on my d15b2? I dont have to drill holes in the blobk for oil passages or something?

Yeh u can't mix d with b. Only with the same series u can. So u can get a d16z6 or y8 head and mate it on ur block with mods.

but the general consensis is that it isn't really worth it... when you can get a z6 or y8 from 250-500 if you look around

so that means putting a vtec head on my zc is out o the question.. bummer!
just have to put on my turbo
