GSR vs. LS/VTEC

okay i just picked up a GSR and i herd that if you convert the LS to a VTEC it will smoke the GSR. is that true? but also the process of converting a LS to Vtec is very time consuming and just for a b18 head its like $650+ am i better off with the GSR.

and if i do pick up an LS and covert to LSVtec if both my cars were boosted what would be faster.

srry im a bit new to cars. so just trying to learn.
thanks

Re: GSR vs. LS/VTEC

i say stick wit the b18c in your gsr, dont swap it about 4 a ls motor with vtec head, it cost more and is time consuming, sure they r fast but a gsr can be to for the same mount of money youd spend 2 get 2 ls-vtec status. theres plenty u can do with the motor you have, for theres many tuning routes you can go to. turbos the easy way to get power, but u can go na and have crisp thottle respone, its costly though. Turbo wit get the best bang 4 the buck.
ls-vtec is nice, but u have a gsr, stick wit it i say
