Condensation.

Okay in my front right fog light on my 4dr, it has condensation in it, is there anyway that I can clean that out?

are they aftermarket fogs, or are they the stock ones like 91ef3zc has?

Anyways, I had some aftermarket fogs, and they didnt look all that great, and one of em had a shitload of water in it, so I rewired my bumper lenses to double as foglights using the existing switch. If your bumper lenses arent clear already, just pop out that orange piece.

Anyways, if they are the factory fogs and you really wanna keep em, just open it up, dry it out really well, and then resilicone it together. I did this on my pass side taillight and I have had no water inside it since.

If you are interested in doing your bumper lenses click the link below, it is complete with pics, night pics, and diagrams based on which method you wish to use to do it

my headlights do the same thing. it's very annoying. after months of trying to seal the bastards up, i gave up and drilled a few holes in the top housing(dumbass idea). but it kinda works, since the bulbs are really hot, it evapourates the condensation out. the only reason i drilled holes is because im getting some projectors eventually...

Take out the bulbs and let them dry on the inside. Then you can run a bead of silicon sealant around the outside and that should seal them up. If you want to drill a hole the bottom would be better than the top so that way the water drips out instead of being trapped in it.

Thumbs up

LOL - I have this issue with my $20 APC corner lenses and one of my headlights...there is enough water I can see it sloshing around in the bottom of the corner light..I have a rock chip/hole in my headlight, so I know how that gets in. I finally got the headlight to dry out and I put a dab of silicone over the hole to keep the water out. The silicone seems to last a couple of months before it breaks down, so I just have to keep on it.

Looks like I need to take apart my corner lenses and reseal them. The weather has been crappy here so I haven't bothered yet...I really wanna tint them a little when I have it apart, so they'll match up to my projectors when I have $$ for them
