I am in need of some help. I got the control arm off but the metal part part of the front bushing is rusted on where it connects and I can't get it off i have tried everything, WD-40, pipe wrench, vise grip, you name it i have tried it. so if anyone can help me i would appreciate it.

Re: Lower Control Arm

Get some penetrating fluid like Kroil or PB Blaster, WD-40 is not a good penetrating oil. Also, heat will help, hitting it with a propane torch will heat up the sleeve at a different rate than the pin. That whole arm comes off with two big bolts, you might have better luck more comfortably standing in front of it, clamped in a vise. A chisel might be able to cut that sleeve releasing the rust seal or a Dremel with a cutting wheel, either way be careful not to cut a groove into the pin.

Worst case scenario: 1stChevyParts.com shows the part for about $60 shipped. https://www.1stchevyparts.com/partscat.html

Re: Lower Control Arm

I used a hand grinder & just ground away the sleeve. (my new arms came with a new sleeve...be sure yours do before destroying the old one)
