Porsche 956 Tamiya wheels

I am replicating the 83 Porsche 956 Skoal Bandit with Tamiya kit and St 27 decals. How can I replicate these wheels as in this photo http://www.slotracinglemans.com/imag...sko16_8301.jpg? I have tried to find aftermarket wheels for the kit and I can't seem to find anything.

Re: Porsche 956 Tamiya wheels

Maybe a set of wheels from other group C race cars?

Take a look at this...

The builder used S27 F1 wheels and they look convincing to me.

Re: Porsche 956 Tamiya wheels

Thanks for the link. I also think the wheels that come with Tamiya's Sauber look pretty correct and I would think would easily apply.

Yep, the C9 wheels are a good match.

Re: Porsche 956 Tamiya wheels

The mercedes speedlines are 19" rears, 956 long tails use 17" rims for a low fender profile. The car also ran with white wheel covers.
