'96 chevy blazer water pump issues, i think.

I have a 1996 Chevy Blazer and I have to keep it cause it is paid for, here is my problem. It keeps overheating. I changed the thermostat 3 days ago and it did nothing. I can't go 5 miles down the road without the temp gauge going to the almost to the red line. The heater blows out cold air all the time so I am thinking that the water isn't circulating and the water pump is bad, right.? Help, Please.

More likely your heater core/radiator is clogged.

Buy some radiator flush stuff and follow MTs step-by-step here:

Welcome to AF

First thing check coolant level in rad and for coolant loss.
If no coolant loss check for proper operation and or replace the thermostat.

The coolant level hasn't moved in the radiator reservoir and I changed the thermostat on Friday.

Check the coolant level in the radiator, not the reservoir. Just because it's supposed to pull from the reservoir when low doesn't mean it actually does...
