okay here goes, this will set the record straight

the PM6 is the best ECU to use with a non-OBD engine. sure the pg7 integra ecu supposedly has better fuel maps and such but realize that eh pm6 was made for an MPFI single cam engine whereas the teg was made for a dohc engine.

Also, with the pg7 ecu, you have a 7500-7800 rpm rev limit and its too tempting to rev it that high just because. but what this will do is give you a little fun thing called floated valves and you will blow your engine up.

just my $.02

a d series engine is mechanically stable up to 7650 rpm and safe up till then. With a stock cam, 7800 rpm is no problem with the exception you may lose some life to your valve train in regards to about 130,000 miles instead of 150,000. My $.02
