Sub woofer wiring

I wanted to know how I would wire the sub woofer I have to my stero system. I have a 1996 Pontiac Grand Am.

What kind of sub do you have? Is the stereo the original deck or an aftermarket one? Have you bought an amp yet?

Do you have a box for your sub yet?
