275's maybe?
can you fit 275/45/r17s on stock 96 impala wheels someone offered them to me i dont know if they would fit the tires are nitto drag radials

How wide are the rims? If they're 8", then yes. If they're 7", then no.

was there a variance in stock wheel sizes for 96 impalas i thought it was 8 inches wide only?

I don't know, I've never seen one unmounted so I haven't had the chance to measure one and I haven't looked up the spec. If it's 8", you can use a 275.
