1990 Bonneville Heat Problem
I have a 1990 Bonneville and no heat. The blower is new, I' ve changed the heat control panal but still no heat. Is there a heat control unit under the dash board? I even checked the fuses. Does this car have a relay switch for the heat? Please help! Winter is coming and I need some heat.

I would change the thermostat first.

Re: 1990 Bonneville Heat Problem
There is a resister under the hood, unbolt and remove it.After removing the resistor,go to your nearest self service car wash you can wash your car by yourself and clean the inside where the resistor goes which is full of dirt and crud. This is a common problem.

Where is the resister located on the car?

Re: 1990 Bonneville Heat Problem
It is under the hood, left near the blower motor held in by two 9/32 or 5/16 headed screws.Look down there for dirt and crud after removing the resister.

Re: 1990 Bonneville Heat Problem
I suppose we should first ask if you have good air flow from the vents.
