1994 Lumina Euro - Wiper and windshield spray not working

Hey, we recently repaired the bracket that holds on the wipers/blinker stalk to the steering column. The blinkers work fine, but my wipers and the windshield spray do not work anymore. Is there some way to test the wiper motor to make sure it works? I'm pretty sure it is not the wiper motor itself because it wa working fine before this, plus its not just the wipers (its the spray too). Any idea how to fix this problem? Maybe a wire came loose somewhere, or the blinker stalk itself is damaged? Thanks
