How many miles do you guys get out of your Sidekicks

Hey everyone I found a sidekick for sale as a winter car its got 141,000 on the clock and isn't the prettiest thing on the planet but it saves me from using my good car in the winter. I have never really looked to see how many miles these thing usually rack up before they blow. How many do you all have on yours? Thanks much.

Re: How many miles do you guys get out of your Sidekicks

Have 212,000 kms. on our '97 5 spd. right now - bought it with about 115,000 kms. on it, seems to run just as well now as then, planning to drive it to 300K+...

Keep the oil clean and topped up, the rad full, and change the other fluids if you get one with that sort of mileage. These SideKicks are tough little critters, and can go a long way if cared for. If you're in a area with road salt, get it rust-sprayed (several good brands out there), or at least undercoated with an oily wax. Rust is what usually finally 'em kills off
