SL Spring Special

A local dealer is advertising a 2002 Saturn SL Spring Special.

I currently drive a 2000 Saturn SL.

What is a Spring Special?

Thanks

Randy

I dunno. Maybe it's been advertised since March?

This is the 2nd time I have seen an ad for spring special. First time, I thought it was just part of the advertising. I will inquire.

Thanks

I emailed the salesman and this is what I learned. The car is being advertised on autotrader. He said that when he entered the vin on autotrader it automatically fills in some details such as engine size, etc. One of the details for this car was "spring special". The salesman didn't know what it meant either but assumed it was a package of some kind. The car is an SL and he did say it was pretty basic. The vin is 1G8ZS52852Z242650.

Forgot to mention, I entered the vin into carfax and it also returned 2002 SL Spring Special. However, I still don't know what spring special means.

Re: SL Spring Special

I suppose its just a fully loaded SL2 with a SOHC engine and tranny. You'd have to look at the car to confirm though.
