Exclamation no heat

i have a problem with no heat...i dont hear mt damper open or close anymore when i turn my heat on...wher is the accuater located?

What year is your Explorer and does it have the electronic or manual HVAC controls?

By damper door I trust you mean the blend door. The blend door is electronic and controlled by the temperature set point potentiometer. The blend door actuator is located behind the RH side of the instrument panel, at the top of the A/C plenum.

You may want to verify that the 7.5-ampere fuse in location 10 of the instrument panel fuse box is good as that is the fuse that powers the blend door actuator.

ok ..now i have another problem..the truck will start and will drive in reverse but if i put it in drive it dies...any answers
