'64 Pontiac GTO

Yesterday I finished the Monogram 1964 Pontiac GTO.

It's a very nice kit, that fitts very well.

I painted it with TS-Orange, and clearcoated it with TS-Pearl Clear en normal TS-Clear. After that I polished it with a micromesh polishingpads.

I just did some modifications on it, and this is the result:

What modification did I made:

- Pegasus aluminium sleeves with HoppinHydro's torque wheels
- Polished the aluminium wheeltrim
- PE licenseplateholders
- Aluminium exhausttips
- Logo's and upscripts removed
- some sponsordecals
- Lowered
- Hiroboy Light Buff interiorflocking
- Nissan frontseats
- PE windowcranks
- Sports steeringwheel
- Model Factory Hiro yellow sparkplugwire
- Pontiac magazine
- AMT 1/24/24 modelkit

Hope you like it!

Kris.

Re: '64 Pontiac GTO

Looks really cool, low and mean and the wheels look excellent. The only thing I'm not really sure about is the black on the bumpers. I know why you did it though. I have managed to use BMF to repair damaged bumpers in the past following first smoothing off the damaged bits with wet and dry paper with reasonable success. Perhaps next time you could give it a try. Great result overall though!

Re: '64 Pontiac GTO

Great stance, I really like how you set it up. Are those the wheels that came with the kit? I love the lip on them.

No, the wheels are lowrider wheels from Pegasus with a small aluminium sleeve. I changed the heart of the wheels with torque wheels (without tyres) from HoppinHydros'

Man, what a gorgeous build. Just the right stance, just the right wheels, and a gorgeous paint job.
