Black Wire ?

I am trying to get some things working again on my 2000. I pulled up the passenger carpet and it was wet. So I started cleaning connectors. There is a heavy gage black wire in the bundle the connection is right in front of the passenger seat. I cannot get any voltage on either side of the connector. Does anyone have a wiring diagram or know what this wire is for ? Thank You

Re: Black Wire ?

The lock part of my rocker switches would not work, Air bag light stays on sometimes, drivers side heated seat and passenger side sliding door. It does ulock with all switches but will not open or close automatically

Re: Black Wire ?

this has to be a ground wire does it have continuity thru the connector. don't think your gonna get voltage on a ground wire .just check it for continuity thru the connector .if no continuity then connector is corroded.check the a/c drain on the firewall for a plugged or missing drain hose ,if the drain hose is missing this will let the water drain in the floorboard.
