What do you guys think.

Ok, My 88 s10 blazer 4x4 is in great condition inside and out, with the exception of a rust hole on the rook where the screw goes in for the little chrome strips under the roof rack, I would like some input on how to deal with this, I have had the idea of just cutting off the back half of the roof and turning it into a truck of sorts, but I dont think my son would like that too much, and I like the way it looks now. I am not looking to go spend more than the truck is worth at a body shop either, just let me know if you have any views on not so expensive ways to solve the problem , thanks

You could braze in a patch and cover it with bondo then sand and prime. Buy some cans of spray paint and paint it over. Some people pop rivet in a patch and cover with bondo.
