heater core issuses

can i bypass my heater core on a 96 imp without affecting a/c? if not i can live with out air in chicago plus im getting the car ready to go to blackhawk next season and want to keep all possibilities of air in this tricky cooling system out also ive seen fan switches for tpi cars is there one for lt1?

i don't see how it can afect it you got two other hoses runing to your air. why do you what to by pass heater core?

is the heater core leaking? there is a heater bypass valve at the heater core where the lines go though the fire wall that diverts the coolant back to the block. with that a i think you could splice the two lines at the bypass valve and be ok.
