89 Daytona driving me nuts HELP..

I have a 1989 Daytona 2.5 NT .... My uncle had the head replaced, fuel tank, pump, NEW Throttle body, ... The car starts cold but will not idel hardly at all -stumbles etc. When you put it in gear it will die unless you hold the gas at around 2000 rpm and drop it in gear... when it finally warms up the car idels at 2000 or so on it own.... Has anyone got the magic cure

Re: 89 Daytona driving me nuts HELP..

Vacuum leak on the intake manifold or a loose/leaking vacuum line will cause problems like this. Considering you have just completed intake manifold work, its possible a vacuum line is disconnected or a component was installed incorrectly.
