passenger side water leak found

Just thought i'd post this since someone will have this problem eventually , i have an 05 blazer that started leaking water on the passenger side - in the end i removed the door sill trim and hosed water underneath in the area of the retaining clips for the sill that go thru the body - water was leaking in thru the gaskets around the clip holders - yay . looks to me like a design destined for failure as they age and dry out ( mine are only 3 years old ) . the clips in mine are simular to rad clips and probably applies to other recent years and models . i bought the blazer in this summer so i'm goin back to see if they will fix it as a pre-existing condition . i'll let you know how that goes since the there top of the line extended warranty doesn't cover leaks .
