Superformance_GT40

One of my all time favorites.. saw a kit by Superformance and had to draw it... I have always wanted one of their Cobra kits, but now...? Anyway, all done in Illy. Been a long time since I did one.... so, after being inspired by GB and Lemorris, had to spend the weekend at the table. Hope you enjoy. Roboduck

Re: Superformance_GT40

Robo--a fantastic bit of digital doodling.
You've taken your realism up to another level.
Great depth to the image and fine little detailing like the "pop-out"
window on the passenger side glass.

Re: Superformance_GT40

Thanks, all. As time permits, I will get back into drawing more... and "finishing" my renderings.... I just wanted to get one out. Robo

Re: Superformance_GT40

I did enjoy. Looks very very cool. Does the GT40 really have such a "flat" windshield or does it only appear to because of the straight reflection lines?

Re: Superformance_GT40

Rob.. it looks a bit flatter than it really is. Another angle may have shown it clearer.

Re: Superformance_GT40

Nice work, I am thinking about doing a pencil drawing of the same car. The GT40 is a love of mine.
